2 Days Chimpanzee Tracking at Kibale National Park

The 2 days to kibale expose you to the closes relatives of human beings in the forest sharing about 98% of human DNA. You will have a chance to explore the unique nature of the chimpanzees in their natural home the forest. Kibale National park is also home to other 13 primate species that may be seen during your tour to this protected area in western parts of Uganda.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale and visit the bigodi Swamp
You will be picked by our professional driver/guide and transfer to Kibale National Park after your breakfast at your hotel. The journey takes about 5 hours to reach and check into the lodge. After your lunch at the Hotel, you will be led to the forest in a nature walk in the afternoon to catch up with the many bird species in this area, many primates, and the many trees and other plant species. After this remarkable visit to park, you will retire at the lodge for dinner and a night stay at Chimpanzee Guest House.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking
Transfer to the park headquarters after an early breakfast at the lodge, you will be guided on the clear conduct required while with the chimps. This exercise will take you 2-4 hours depending on the movement of these primates. The Chimpanzees are seen jumping from one tree to another ass they play and feed. You will be allowed to spend one full hour with the chimps taking memorable pictures and learning about them more. After this blissful experience, you will return to the lodge for lunch and return to Kampala for departure.
