Congo is probably the best place for Gorilla tracking in its Virunga National Park. For years, Congo was unsafe due to the political unrest but sanity has now been restored and the country is safe for tourism. Their gorilla permits are apparently the cheapest at just $450 per permit and the guests are allowed to watch the Gorillas for strictly one hour from the time of contact.
